Tag1 Consulting is a gold level sponsor of All Things Open 2026 in Raleigh, NC, October 19-20, exhibiting at booth #62. Moshe Weitzman, Senior Architect and Project Lead, presents "One Engine, Every Ecosystem: The Architecture of a Platform-Agnostic Open Source Product" on Tuesday, October 20 at 11:15 AM.

All Things Open runs October 19-20 in Raleigh, and this year Tag1 is joining for the first time as a gold level sponsor, with a session on the schedule and a booth on the floor.

It is our first year at the conference, and it is squarely our kind of room: where the people who build and maintain open source show up to trade what actually worked. The question our clients are asking is the one we expect to hear all over Raleigh: where does AI fit, and how do you use it without betting the platform on it. We are bringing one session that answers a version of that question in the most concrete way we know, by opening up the engineering behind a real product.

Scolta is a browser-side AI search engine, built on Pagefind that uses WebAssembly and a static index for lightning-fast results. It ships with native indexing libraries for Node.js, PHP and Python and packages for seven platforms: Drupal, WordPress, Laravel, Next.js, Nuxt, Astro, and Django. Moshe gets into how the team cut it so each ecosystem gets a real native plugin instead of a lowest-common-denominator port, and what wordpress.org review, drupal.org project approval, npm, Packagist, and PyPI each demanded of the same codebase. He tells it as an engineering process rather than a feature tour, with nine live demo sites across Drupal, WordPress, and Laravel to prove the point. If you have ever shipped the same idea into two communities and watched their assumptions pull it in opposite directions, come hear how Tag1 handled it.

Come See Tag1 at Booth #62

You will find us at booth #62 on the expo floor. Bring the hard technical problem you have been sitting with, whatever your stack. If you are scaling an open source platform, weighing an AI project, or chasing a performance problem no one else wants to touch, this is the room to talk it through.

Keenan Bowen photo Come meet Tag1's Client Partner, Keenan Bowen. He works alongside clients daily, and he is rolling Scolta out with some of them right now. If Moshe's talk gets you thinking, Keenan is the person to ask what works, what took real effort, and where it fit. Bring your own setup and compare notes.

Everything we are bringing to the booth also lives on our digital booth companion: the demos, the docs, and the links, all in one place. Browse it before the show, or take it home after.
